Ah yes, as it was 1987-1990 profanities weren't so mainstream and as DS was only 10yrs it was a revelation that Mum knew so many rude words

I'm originally from Grimsby and, although neither my own nor my friends' are fishing families, I am a fishwife in that sense of the word. It's not big and it's not clever, but I haven't ever grown out of my childhood habit of swearing. Just about manage to hold it when in presence of my parents though!

Even tried hypnotherapy after I had my first child 17 years ago...
