Blackout Plantation Shutters

Does anyone have these? A shutter with a built in blackout blind?

If you do, would you recommend them?

Thank you

Sorry didn’t know you could get black out ones , I have the normal plantation shutters and they make the rooms dark at night when shut

I have plantation shutters, they keep the light out (sunshine ) but not blackout.

I had shutters installed downstairs and in my dressing room about two years ago. The sales consultants didn’t mention blackout blinds, I didn’t know there was such a thing.

From what I can see online you are actually buying a blackout blind and a shutter? The blackout part I have - and works really well.

Thanks all. It’s like a frame from what I can tell with the blackout blind attached as well as the shutters. My dh thinks we should just get a blackout blind and then a shutter so was after opinions. It would definitely be more cost effective.

I think it spoils the look a bit. Of course I am not sleeping in the rooms I have my shutters in so I have never even noticed how much light they keep out by themselves.
