Just been over to Trustpilot and had a look at Virgin Holidays, I'm positive they are going to go under.

Some people have been waiting to get back thousands of pounds from cancelled holidays in March and April.

I will contact my credit card company today and see how that goes. It really is terrible how they are treating their customers, and holding onto every penny they can.

Definitely don’t think Virgin will survive this pandemic. I’m starting on the credit card section 75 refund

Let us know how you get on.

Have you requested a refund and been given a timescale? The CC companies usually ask you to wait until the refund period has passed.

I think that the recent measures that VA have taken is a positive sign, and will give them a better chance for survival.

Mine is car hire, just had a refund on my credit card for a cancelled flight, taken over 10 calls and hours on hold.

Is it car hire booked via VA travelplus? My mate has the same.

You did well to get a flight refund. Was that VA?

Anyone had any joy getting through to Virgin regrading car hire. I used the number Andy suggested but no reply a week later

Well my mate was finally able to cancel his VA T+ car hire with VH.

Only took a dozen emails, whatsapp messages, calls, a resolver case and an email to the CEO. No refund as yet, but at least he has the documentation to show to the CC company/insurance if need be.

I cancelled our Expedia car hire with a single click and now have the refund 10 days later. Will rebook if we fly but not with VA. Too much aggro

Edited at 07:57 AM.

Go the chargeback route, worked for me immediately.
