Relationships- Your Story
One thing that is certain following these weeks of enforced lock down, is many many of us have spent more time with our partners and i am sure that we spent time reflecting on our lives and what the future may hold.
With this in mind, I have always been interested to learn how people met and how long you have been together, because it is often the case that when you met the person who is now your sole mate, it was random and often by chance. So to kick off, I met Mrs D332 in 1974, she was part of a group of girls that frequented a pub, where us lads went. After dating some of her mates, we got together and I immediately knew she was the one. 46 years of good health and a DD and DS later, I now realise that when we got married, it was the best days work i have ever done. What is your story? (factual or humorous, your call) Disney332

Been together since 15 at the same school. He decided I’d do and he’s not been able to get rid of me for the last 23 years. 12 years of marriage and twin boys later and I’ve still not annoyed him enough to be bothered with the admin around divorce yet 👍

When I was sent to a company for work experience, it was a chance meeting and very random as I had decided to do the associated college course to be near someone else😂 He was there as a summer job. We met as I was on my way to a party held by another work colleague, he had originally decided to go to the cinema instead, but I persuaded him not too😉 and that was 38 years ago! After Uni we moved in together and got married 2 years later (nearly 32 years ago) Dd and ds followed as did parents dying - too young- and 6 months ago moving to the country to enjoy his soon (hopefully) retirement. Definitely my soul mate and love of my life💖

Been together since i was 17 in 1996. Met him whilst i was in college he had come back to play hockey whilst home from uni. He insulted me so i hit him with the ball. We got married in 2001 and have 2 kids. All 3 of us cant wait for him to go back to work even though we will worry incase he catches it but it is time now, well it was 2 weeks ago haha

We met at summer school for an Open University course 25 years ago this summer. Happened to be in the same tutor group and got chatting in the bar after classes. Celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary on Saturday and now have 2 boys aged 20 and almost 16

We met in a pub in Gretna Green of all places, it was my local and he had came down with his brother to visit his Auntie, I honestly knew as soon as I saw him, he bought me and my mates a drink and we just really hit it off, he actually proposed 4 hours later(honestly) and we married 4 1/2 months later. Nobody thought it would last, it's our Ruby wedding anniversary tomorrow ❤️
