The Ford Escape is our Ford Kuga. Too small in my view for your needs.

You can hire a seat from the rental company or take your own whichever is more convenient.

OP we always go with at least the Group W Ford Edge or similar category on a BA Flydrive. We’re usually a party of 2 ad & 2 ch each with a suitcase and hand luggage each outbound and often an extra case or 2 on return.
Whilst we don’t always get a Ford Edge the cars usually have 7 seats which gives extra boot space for luggage.
I agree with MrT the Ford escape is too small for your needs.

We had an Escape last year just for 2 adults and only 2 small suitcases . Would say that if we had had another 2 adults it would have been cramped for the humans let alone the luggage. However I don't know what is bigger, sorry!

Claire. Back now!

I think the Edge which we have had twice will be too small. The luggage will do you sadly.

For cabin comfort I would opt for a 7 seater Minivan. OK they aren't the nicest vehicle by my goodness they do what it says on the tin.

The trouble you will find with the rear seat passengers being 2 adults and a child aged 4 is the child car seat is going to hugely eat into the available room. If there is a 3rd row it's a right royal pain to get in and out of and the leg room is dire.

Ok thanks Tom hope your jab went well 😳💉
Is there no difference between the Edge & Escape then as another poster recommended it 🤔

Hi Claire, we have had the dodge caravan a couple of times and its been great for 4 adults on a road trip, 4 big cases and hand luggage, plus shopping 😊

This time I have upgraded for ford escape but just 2 of us and loved the ford f150 pick up 😊

I agree with everyone else - we have had a Ford Escape a couple of times, but we are just 2 adults and a lot of luggage! We had one with my sister and son one year, so 4 adults, and it was okay but we struggled with 4 lots of cases (we always take 2 each because we bring so much stuff back with us); add a child into that mix and it would have been really cramped! It is a lovely vehicle to drive, though.
