How do you use your tesco points?

I pretty much shopped mostly in Asda, up until maybe a year ago, when we now do our weekly shop in Tesco. As I've been trying to collect airmiles, I automatically made them convert straight into Avios, but they don't seem to be doing much

Can I ask what people use theirs for? and if you've ever used them for anything exciting?

I’ve just booked the Eurotunnel with ours for our Disneyland Paris trip in December. I mainly shop in Aldi and Asda so don’t get that many nowadays.

Like you the last year or 2 I’ve been getting mine converted to Virgin miles however I’m thinking about stopping this.
In the past I’ve got Legoland tickets or day out tickets, food vouchers for restaurants and money off Hilton hotels although I’m not sure they still do that.

We convert them to Virgin miles. We hang onto them until there is a boost on the conversion rate and then convert all we have.

We do all our grocery shopping at Tesco, as well as getting petrol from there and the miles have helped us get many PE and Upper flights.

I use them for pizza express meals a lot, as they are worth 3 x their value.

I use them to get free delivery. I use the delivery saver and I use points instead of having another monthly payment.

More recently I've used mine for our hotel in New York, zoo tickets, Eurostar crossing & restaurant vouchers. Gone are the days when they paid massively towards our first family trip to Florida with virgin & nice watches & jewellery from goldsmiths
