What do you think of Aquatica?

We love a water park and have been to the Disney ones and Volcano Bay a few times. We have never been to Aquatica. Our children are 13, 10 and 3. Do you recommend it? I understand you cannot take any food in. Can you take drinks in? Wondering if it's worth a visit or not.

We liked it for our DD when she was 11ish, she had a whale of a time! Haven't been since, but seem to remember the lazy river was quite strong, had difficulty getting out as overshot the exit!

we really liked it, good rides but as said the current at the faster lazy river entry/exit point is really strong...so do hang onto your 3 yr old ...my 7 yr was wearing the float jacket, we entered together but i didn't have hold of her hand as she is a good swimmer, the current was so strong I got swept away from her & we had the stress of me being able to get out but she ended up further "downstream" with a life guard.

we did also take some food/drinks in but may depend on who's checking your bag.

We loved it. We went on one of the cooler days, which was fine for us but cold for the locals, and the place was really quiet. The lifeguards were all wrapped up in big fleeces We went straight on virtually everything ! And the lazy river is more like rapids but you get a lifejacket

it's our favourite, some great rides, best fast 'lazy' river in orlando, and no hassle of tapu tapu

You can take food in but it must be to their guidelines
We took a polystyrene cooler and you have to decant large packets of crisps etc
So small sandwich bags& put crisps , fruit etc in Individual bags .
You can’t take sandwiches , fizzy drinks ( but you can take still individual bottles of water and a squash squeezie.
Everything has to be per person ,. It’s all on their website .
Aquatica is a lovely park and it gets boiling hot the lazy river and beach areas are really nice .

We have been there on Christmas Day !

Thanks all - I've booked the Seaworld 3 for 2 tickets which include entry to Aquatica so it will be nice to go somewhere we haven't been to before!
