Sadly they're a rare commodity right now. You can't get them anywhere and when they do become available, they're gone in seconds.

We tried to get a PS5 for our son for ages as it was his birthday a few weeks ago. We kept looking when there was going to be a drop of stock and then DH finally got one at 4am from Argos. Luckily he doesn't sleep well so he was ok with it but it seems the early hours of the morning is the best time to succeed.

Download the app hotstock and that notifies you whenever places have them. This is how we got our sons.

True. Thus is due to the worldwide chip shortage which has also forced some car manufacturers to suspend production particularly in the US.

I finally managed to get one last week.

If you are a BT customer you can "sign up to get notifications when it becomes available". I did this months ago and last week they sent me a code to purchase it through their website. Obviously this way would only work if you are a BT customer, and you still may have to wait for a while.
