This makes perfect sense to me and in fact, I have very rarely done a 14 night visit over the years. 10,14 and 21 always seem to cost more.

I research to find the very lowest fare, looking at anything between 15 and 20, but it, then build my holiday into the gap between. I also research many airports as well as the obvious ones.

Next Easter School Hols it is 15 nights with a flight into Toronto and one home from Miami. I think that you may agree that £490pp including hold baggage is rather reasonable, when compared with some of the crazy flight prices being quoted for next Easter. The flight down from Buffalo to Orlando was a further £110pp including hold baggage… but after I have seen the sights of Toronto and Niagara Falls.
I understand that some are receiving quotes of up to £2000pp for direct flights in to MCO from the U.K. More fool them if they pay it!

Flexibility is the key to everything.

Definitely go for the 16nights, we have discovered over the years that it is often cheaper to travel for random nights, we have done, ,9,13,15,19,21 and 23 all because they were cheaper than 7, 14 and 21 nights.

I have considered doing this also. (I’m also looking at Lufthansa but we fly a bit later in August so return dates not out yet) There are some significant savings by tweaking the dates. I’d say go for it. X

Thank you to everyone. We’re all booked, and found it cheapest to add 2 nights to the start of the holiday so we’re now booked for 16 nights!
