Virgin reward flights and voucher amendments help

I have flights booked end of next month to Orlando then return from new york (I’ve booked internal flights separately) I have used my Virgin points and cash for the flights and my credit card voucher to upgrade to premium both ways, Does anyone know what our options would be if we was to cancel ourselves rather than wait for virgin to cancel? Can we rebook the same flights next summer? I had a quick look and there’s not many points flights available 😩 would I loose my reward voucher or does it get credited back to my account?

When you say points plus cash for the seats do you mean a full reward seat plus cash for the taxes and surcharges?

Yeah I used cash and points then my credit card voucher to upgrade to premium.

If you choose to cancel you will get all the points and voucher(s) credited back to your account and the cash less a £30 per person admin fee refunded. In this case re booking would be subject to reward availability on the dates you choose - it's in effect a new booking.

If you sweat it out and wait for VS to cancel you, they are obliged to reschedule you on the same route.
