Is this a good price?

Hi, We have been to Florida a few times and now we have decided to try the west coast.
I know prices are all over the place at the minute but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of whether this would be a good price?
We live in Belfast so the route would be Belfast to Heathrow onto San Francisco then home via LA to Heathrow onto Belfast. 3 weeks 28th June to 19th July, including car hire £3800. Forgot to say we are a family of 2 adults and 4 kids.

Thanks for any help!

Does this include any accomodation. Its 6 years since we did a West Coast trip, Vancouver to LA via a number of cities and national parks. We went for 3 weeks and stayed with friends in LA for the last 3 nights, we booked through trailfinders and it cost just under £7000, this was Manchester to London to Vancouver then home from LA to London to Manchester, SUV and staying in a variety of hotels, lodges and motels.
Needless to say I think your price sounds OK and if you are happy with it then I would book it.
