I find cold tap water is too cold for my teeth and have always used warm water.
To me it makes sense as everything else is washed with hot/warm water 🤷

Drives me mad at work, people fill the kettles with hot water. I tell them we are in a big building, and who knows what muck is in the hot water tank. Then they say it is boiled, I explain you have to boil water for 3 minutes to kill all pathogens.

I’ve never heard of anyone using hot water to clean teeth with before! Cold for me but just for a little on top of the toothpaste.

Neither, toothpaste on brush only. Then cold water rinse. Not sure why you would use hot water!

Neither, and don’t rinse out with water afterwards either. You just remove the fluoride that way. Ask your dentist. Btw if you leave the tap running while you brush your teeth you use enough water in a week to fill a bath.
