There are an awful lot of dates and it is very $$$, but we've never done it and I was going to get tickets for it (if we end up going (waiting on flight prices)). Shame it is so busy now compared to previous years.. they are greedy, seems unfairly so but hey, ppl keep paying

We’re not doing MNSSHP but interested in dates to plan a MK fireworks party. By these dates it will have to be Saturday 3/10 as the other free dates we’re doing HHN and a night at RPR.
Really don’t think there’s any need to do MNSSHP practically every other night in October.
Pure greed!

We are fortunate that we are going 22nd August - 4th September so only a few events during that time. But the number of events in October is ridiculous! Greed is the only word to describe it. If I was going in October and had paid for a 14 day ticket I would be angry at the number of events taking place. We did it on our last visit and we were considering it this year but TBH with other Dibbers saying how busy the nights now are we have reconsidered.

Can I ask is it good to go during the day of these events, will it be quieter? We would plan to leave early afternoon. We tend to do one daytime and one evening at MK when we visit.

We normally go in October and surprised to see there is 18 party nights at MK! Not sure there used to be that many? Don’t forget that Blizzard Beach is closed during October too! 🤔

Kinda glad I’m going in August this time, even with it being hotter than the surface of the sun whilst we will be there! 😂 🥵

Not saying I agree with all the party dates but there hasn’t been an increase in number of Oct parties this year, there has been 18 dates in Oct for at least 2017, 2018 & 2019.

We have only ever gone in Oct and have never done a party. However we always do our visits now to MK on party day’s as find it much quieter. Then shedule one evening visit when no party just to see the fireworks

Thanks
I thought the original dates that people were talking about were just a guess based on early closing times, and party dates in previous years.

I’d questioned from the start whether the early closure on a Saturday (15th August, I think) would be for MNSSHP or for some other event, as it didn’t seem to fit the pattern from previous years. Still wondering what it is for though.

Phew! That would have been annoying if they’d over-charged! It definitely sounds like they knew what they were doing with the pre-sale tickets, with the prices being so accurate.*

*I’m only going by the $90 = £69 tickets, as they’re the ones we’re interested in. I’m just assuming the others were all accurately priced too.

That’s really bad - even if people are getting party tickets for one of those dates, they’ve still got a whole lot of other days in the parks when they won’t want early closures so often. I haven’t really looked at past October dates as we’re going in August - has it previously been this bad?
