My boy’s coming back from Canada!

He is in Toronto, his gf moved there from Vancouver. She doesn’t have much of a relationship with her parents but understands my son does x

So happy for you that you will get to see your son in a few months
It will keep you all excited knowing you will get to spend time with your family.

My DD is on a J1 visa working in a summer camp a couple of hours from NY. She is gone almost 10 weeks now I miss her so much! She will be home in about 5 weeks, counting down the days and I couldn't bear to imagine how it must feel when kids go to live permanently/indefinitely to another country.

We are in PEI . You are going to have to make lots of visits to see him. It was just awful the 2 years that our DD was here before we came as well, so know how you feel. You have him to look forward to in January. He can escape the Canadian winter for 10 days lol

He is planning on settling here with his GF or maybe wife, she said we will get more help from your parents if we have a baby because her parents aren’t interested.

Aw that’s lovely and it will be fabulous . I’ve just left my sister at the airport after a week together after 2.5 years of not actually seeing each other (FaceTime isn’t the same ) , boy did we blub . Xx
