Great trip report and thanks for sharing your lovely photos with us. We too are Carnival Cruisers and love them. So glad you were not disappointed with your second one.

Sounds like a great trip, was beginning to worry about the lack of Phil pointing to his beer photos

Sounds wonderful!
We’ve been to Miami a couple of times and tried St Pete Beach for first time instead. I found this much more enjoyable. I agree with your thoughts on Miami.

Sounds brilliant, love the look of the chocolate key lime pie. We feel the same about Miami, we were there for a night on South Beach before we got on our cruise this year, and it was so underwhelming. The beach was lovely, Ocean Drive was good to see, but the price to eat was unreal. We were shocked at how expensive things in Walgreens were. We are returning next year, but only to the airport, then driving up the coast. I would love to try the keys too, maybe another time. Thanks for sharing your views, shame you're not doing a trip report this time

Sounds like you had a fab time. Loving the photos. Don’t think I could have handled the steak, that was a large, thick steak! The keys are on our bucket list of places to see. Love cruising, been on quite a few, so glad you have gotten into it.

Was it VS06 on Friday, August 02 from Miami to LHR?
We're been on the same flight, and wow... it was very bumpy. Never experienced something like this in over 15 flights on that route. It was really scary. |

Yes, that's the flight I was on! I was very glad when we landed, I have to say.
