Anyone else sick of the weather this month

We are currently waiting for our transport to the airport leaving lovely weather and temperature of 32 deg to go home to flooding, winds and temperature of 16deg! My heating will on when I get back for sure especially since I won't be able to get all the holiday clothes dried outside and the dryer can only take so much haha (we go away again in 10days so need the clothes again).

Mhm mum has been here for the day and I took her home at 8.30pm - the thermostat in the car was showing 13C - far too cold for August.

We're currently 10 degrees and forecast to drop to circa 7 tonight, our heating/living flame has been on/off over the past week or so, positively Autumnal at times.

With this weather November can't come around soon enough for us to leave the UK winter behind.

Last night was the first time I switched the fan off. Tomorrow I may actually sleep with a sheet over me for the first time in months. Not the duvet, it will be at least another month before that.

Personally - bring it on. I am so sick of being drained of energy and drenched in sweat. Give me a nice brisk winter where I have boundless energy and can curl up on the sofa for cosy evenings.

We're down in Cornwall visiting family this week, Monday was beautiful and we went for a 3 hour walk through Golitha Falls, yesterday was warm but cloudy, and today you cant even see out of the window it's that foggy. Taking my dd and 2 nieces horseriding later so hoping it clears up!

Can't say i'm sick of it to be honest, I hate it when it's hot in this country, but would be nice to have a bit more sun this week so we could enjoy the local beaches!
