Coolers in parks

Can you still take coolers/cool boxes in parks ?
took this type 3 years ago. Had no problem in any park.
Just gets heavy when carrying around.

Thinking of getting one of these in Walmart when we go, will be easier to pull around, can these be used ?

Thanks

We’ve got a backpack cooler so easier to carry - it’s huge but very well padded on the shoulders and back

I haven't been for a few years, but you weren't allowed the roll along coolers then (too much of a trip hazard I suspect). You certainly used to have to be able to carry your cool bag.

It does but to be fair, DH and our 2 adult DS’s take take it in turns to carry at the beginning of the day as it obviously gets lighter as the day goes on.

Free cups of iced water from any Disney food outlet would be our choice. We don’t even take a bag with us just what fits in cargo shorts.
Each to their own of course.

So the wheeled one could be used as long as it’s within the dimensions?
We need a cooler type bag for next year as it will be the first year without a pram. I like the idea of the backpack type, although my husband says he doesn’t mind carrying it, I am sure he will get fed up in the July heat!
We need to have my daughters medical kit kept cool and snacks etc in case her bloods go low.
A solid wheeled one would also be good for her to sit on (there are never any benches when she has a hypo lol)

From the Disney moms panel website:

... coolers cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. If a cooler without wheels is at or smaller than those dimensions, it can enter the theme parks. As for coolers with wheels, I spoke with a Cast Member recently and was told that it is ultimately up to security, but really coolers with wheels fall into the same category as wagons and that makes them a no-go in any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
I suggest you try to take in a cooler that meets the size requirements without wheels.
So the advice would be don't bring a cooler with wheels, however, if you need a seat option for your daughter, you could always hire a wheelchair and loop the cooler backpack over the handles to save carrying. Just a thought...
