going from villa to condo/hotel/apartment
we stayed in a villa for 3 weeks last year and for next year i will consider all type of accommodation because i will want to keep the cost down as much as possible.
but i am worried about going from our own pool and loads of space to the likes of maybe one room in a hotel.. well i prob would pay the extra for adjoining rooms

check out travelrepublic for Cypress Pointe Resort or Cypress Pointe Grande villas. They have everything a villa has except your own pool. Great location, restaurants within walking distance and very reasonably priced too.

That's why we love Bahama Bay. Loads of space of a villa but with all the amenities of a hotel. We actually prefer going in the larger pools at Bahama Bay as opposed to tiny little ones at villas. We visited friends at their villa a few years ago and with 4 adults and 5 kids in the pool, it felt very crammed. Even the small pools at BB are much larger than the villa pools we have had.

Also consider some where like Windsor Hills. There are villas, townhomes (which have a v small pool) and 8 blocks of 2-3 bed condos that use the communal pool a couple of minutes walk away.
What is best will depend on your preferences and group size, but having tried villas and all the other options for us we are amazed what great value 3 bed condos are: £700-800 for 14 nights. The cheapest we have seen is closer to £500. And also how much space there is. Windsor hills is also in a great location (we did hollywood studios and ak gates in well under 10 mins but you really need a car and can't walk to any where. You are likely to get better value from a villa / condo than a hotel. But it all needs to be balanced with your needs. |

Are you looking for July this year or July 2012 - I'm a little confused from the email string above
Whilst I can appreciate that July 2011 might already be full, as it's only a few weeks away - next year should be okay. Either way, if you are interested in Bahama Bay, I'd be happy to try and help you - feel free to send me a PM and we can chat offine. Kind regards Lisa

There are lots of good value villas around if you search the internet. We have stayed in many for £300 - £350 per week. Have a good search!

Lots of space at a great price. We booked through alpharooms.com |
