Monarch Premium Cabin

Anyone travelled this? What did you think? Any opinions appreciated The priority baggage claim - how does that work, and are you any quicker to the immigration queue? Thank you

We've just travelled this way in May, premium cabin are the first off the plane and have to join the same immigration queue as everyone else.

Bags are tagged as premium cabin and are among the first on the belt at Sanford, but at Manchester they came we as and when.

We got dedicated checkin at Manchester and Sanford, 30kg baggage allowance, priority boarding.

I would travel again in premium, mainly due to the seat back IFE, which still isn't that great compared to others carriers, but we only see them as a means to get to Florida and the price has always been the lowest.

As mentioned above, we flew in sept 2012 and found it to be nice. The crew were very friendly, drinks available as when you needed them. Food was far better than in normal seating, we know as there was a wedding party. Bride and groom were in premium and had the cooked breakfast while in economy it was a muffin and yoghurt, the look on their faces was priceless.
IFE is ok, all films are on a loop but at least it worked. I would say bring your own headphones as the ones provided made my ears hurt after a while.
Enjoy your holiday.

I would be interested to know what they charge for Premium. We are going in August with Monarch and considering upgrading.
