Yeah i know! Its crazy!
Luckily we decided to go in October this year rather than August...looks like WDW is going to inundated this year!
Only 2 of the 6 parks are open at the moment

Well i always think its a no win situation as Disney want the parks full to capacity but it has a negative impact on the visitors experience.
I think it is unfair in some ways to cram the parks so full that it becomes difficult to get on the popular rides,it becomes hard to get around and spend hours in line.

I know it is Easter but Disney have been discounting agressively to attract visitors and as a result the resort hotels are crammed as are the parks.
All of this with reduced shows and parades etc

From what i understand though is that Disney are opening the Magic Kingdom from 0700 til 0100 for the rest of the week with increased shows

That is a decent response for this situation

I think May will be the busiest for a long time but a bit of decent planning etc should still ensure a good time is had by all

Average wait for Big Thunder Mountain is currently 2 hours! owch!

Even during the recession it was predicted last month that attendance records would be broken this week and it looks like it has happened.

Unlucky if you are at WDW at the mo!

I'd be so gutted saving for 2 years to experience any phase closing - fortuneately we tend to go November, maybe a 'sticky' for those planning this time of year in the future?

OMG but it doesn't surprise me as when i was there, i noticed the levels were creeping up. DHS was the worse. Wait times for RRC etc were over 200 mins. Crazy !

Oh I really hope this doesn't sour things for people there at the mo. I have a friend out there right at the mo (due to come home this weekend) and another friend is going out this weekend... hoping it's just today.

C'mon temps - lift and open the water parks!
