Quick wedding like vegas?
We really want to get married in Disney or at least Orlando. I wondered if there was anywhere like vegas where you can just walk in & get married? We go in 29 days so its short notice. Does anyone know?

I know that you can go to the courthouse and get a licence and they also marry people there - I'm not sure you can do it without an appointment though.

Yes you can just walk into a courthouse and get married. I am sure you could book one of the chapels in short notice too.

I'm not sure how much notice you need to give but the cheapest Disney wedding package is called Memories and costs $1991.
You can married on the characters in flight at DTD.

We got married in the Chapel at the Orlando Court House.
We just turned up with our ID, filled in a few forms to get the license, then you can get married. It was fantastic. That was 16 years ago so I am sure the fees would have gone up but it was only about $35. We then went and had a pitcher of lager and a deli sandwich at Rosie O'Grady's followed by a wander along I-drive, stopping to take photos anywhere that looked interesting. We even went for a game of crazy golf at Pirate's Cove - they even gave us free entry as we were still in our wedding outfits. You don't have to spend a fortune to have a truly magical day

Take a look at: royalchapel/
Are you staying in a villa or planning on heading to the beach? I understand you can get married in your villa or on a public beach as long as you have obtained your licence and organised an officiant to conduct and legalise your marriage. I would check up on this though. If you want a Disney wedding that isn't through DFTW or Disney's Swan and Dolphin you could try contacting places in Downtown Disney. Like Chilly said the Characters in Flight Balloon offer weddings as does Fulton's and House of Blues, other places may also welcome wedding ceremonies if you ask too. Happy planning! |
