Anyone had their Vroom cancelled?

With less than 3 weeks to our holiday Virgin have decided to tell us they have over booked the Vroom so have cancelled our booking.

They have tried to accommodate us in another lounge but they are all full.

So sorry, we'll pay you £58.50 end of story.

I'm pretty miffed to be honest - has anyone else had this?

so would i be and i'd be ringing up to tell them that. If you cancelled part of your holiday ten they'd be charging you more than that!

I have spoken to a very rude woman at the call center & have also written to the MD direct. The reply was basically tough - have a great holiday.

Ask who to contact to raise a formal complaint. You may find you could get a bit more compensation

I went to the MD & have responded to him referring to point 10 of their T&Cs.
I’m not expecting much, but I’ll be a bit of a nuisance to them for a bit 😂😂

We’re flying from Manchester- the flight schedules have changed which means they haven’t got room for everyone. I don’t have a problem with that but our flight was changed in October last year & they tell me 3 weeks before we go!? They even sent me the voucher & then rescinded it! Bad customer service. I’m sure you’ll be fine x
