Disney emailed me back to say they weren’t doing a full refurb just a refresh of some goods. I’m kind of glad about this as we go in 48 days and I didn’t really want to hear a load of work going on. Either way I love animal kingdom lodge and can’t wait to be going back!

Let us know how you get on, it always helps to let people know your room number if its a good one
We dont go till September and arent too bothered with a Savannah view as not going to be in our room that much to appreciate it so rather use the extra money on other things.
