We're not big fans of breakfast and usually just have cereal in the room but as others have said you'll find that there is so much choice on DDP from snacks to TS, you'll soon get into the swing of the plan after a day or two!

For breakfast our plan is use our refillable mug for coffee and then grab a pastry for a snack credit. Or Starbucks breakfast sandwich and (ANY SIZE!) drink for a QS credit. Or sharing a QS breakfast such as platter or breakfast pizza.
For lunch we will either use snack credits (theres some big snacks such as the pulled pork fries in AK) or we will share a QS meal. Dinners are mostly TS or 2TS credits We're also there when food and wine festival is on so will be using a lot of snack credits there! Check this out - allears/dining/menu Have a look through and check out some of the snack credit options (little purple square next to them). Planning food is all part of the fun!

Does anyone know can you get your coffee/tea from the refill station and grab some snacks from the QS like pastries and actually sit down in the restaurant and eat them?

Also if you have any table service breakfasts booked I found they kept us quite full. We had breakfast at Crystal Palace one morning and didn’t eat again until 6pm at blaze pizza Disney springs. Likewise with the bon voyage breakfast. we stayed offsite but still had lots of meals on Disney and found the portions very filling have a great trip!

Assume you are talking about in your hotel? If so yes you can fill your coffee up and pay for pastries in the QS restaurant and sit down there to eat them. Although I like the fact that I can “grab and go” with that kind of breakfast to get an early start in the parks.

Yes, you can ask at the hot counters for extra plates, or they'll have smaller ones near the 'baked goods' area too. It's quite common in the US to share food as the portion sizes are so large.

I'm not sure if you are aware but you don't have to use your credits as the 3 TS, 3 QS and 6 snacks each day. For example. you could have 2 table service meals one day (say breakfast and dinner) and no quick service or snacks but then another day only have quick service meals. Your credits are all pooled together to be used over the time you are there as you wish.

Great information again. Thanks. I think after a few days of being there we will have found what suits us best. Wish it was next week and not next year!
