authentic chop suey recipe please

Hi

I LOVE chop suey from a Chinese Takeaway and love the crunchy texture of beansprouts cooked in this way, HOWEVER, stir frys of any sort I find disgusting, no matter how every many different stir fry sauces I have tried.

I am desperate to find a chop suey recipe so I can cook it at home rather than having to pay out for a chinese take away one.

does anyone have a really authentic chinese takeaway tasting recipe for chop suey, whether it be just plain vegetable style or one with meat in it?

I struggle to find any supposedly chinese take away version of home cook recipes that do actually taste like they come from a take away.

if i get a chance at lunch, ill have a scan through the first one, see if i can find something

i dont tend to eat chop suey myself, so cant really help with a known recipe or advice on what to use... i prefer things a bit spicier (i've mostly been experimenting with sichuan cuisine recently)

cant find the second book right now, so not sure if theres others in there

cant see a specific chop suey, but heres a chow mein one, and chop suey is pretty much the same but without the noodles, right?

(this one was an insta live one, but most of his videos are more structured/less chat)

fab, thanks so much, I agree I would say chop suey is a minus noodle version, both I like the taste of so would be a winner.
