I’m not sure if it was a temperature thing. I last rode it in July last year and it was a really hot day. First ride was fine, second was horrendous. I think the seat position makes a difference but I can’t remember which way was better (front or back / middle or outside seats)

Lap bar restraints are definitely the way forward. Watched a few vlogs of the velocicoaster and it does look incredible. Have everything crossed we will get to ride it this summer.

I'm a ride wimp so I don't think I'll be braving it. That being said, I am going with a friend who wants me to be brave and try things, rather than regret not, if that makes sense? It's just launches - the one on Rita at Alton Towers put me off, but my friend says they're not like that and I might be OK on the Florida ones because they're a different launch type, or something.

I'm so looking forward to this ride, it will now be at least 5 years since I last went and i will be 59+ just keeping my fingers crossed I don't get the old folks feeling ill after coasters syndrome I want to ride it more than once!

Not sure on dimensions but there’s a vlogger, Theme Park Express (I think someone posted his video earlier in the thread) and I’m sure he states he’s like 5’6 and 280lbs... and he fits. Not sure if that helps but it appears plus size friendly to an extent

If you have a rounder middle than it may get squashed. I usually suffer from a squashed chest so it would be a change.
