First Day at Beach Club

We'll be arriving at the Beach Club on our first day of our holiday at 9am/ish.

I know we can't check in so any suggestions on how to spend our first day?

Breakfast ideas please too. We're only staying 5 days onsite.

There's some good theme parks close by - have you considered visiting any of them?

(And it is worth trying to check in - you may get lucky and be given a room right away)

We’ve checked in around 8am before and been in our room before 10am on a couple of occasions.

You will be able to check in, however, your room may not be available. Do you have park tickets? If not, you could always get the bus the Disney Springs.

Yes we have tickets for all the parks.

I'm figuring we'll walk over to Epcot for a few evening meals so maybe MK for the morning then back to the hotel, get into the room and then a pool session before dinner.

Oh yes getting tickets for the Star Wars ride sounds like a good idea too!

It is a terrible idea IMO, you would need to walk to Epcot, clear security and then take at least two, possibly more connecting Skyliner to get to HS. It would be much easier to walk to the boat dock opposite the hotel and take the boat!

As to what to do, leave bags with bell service and do whatever you want. It doesn’t matter how long the bus takes to MK, are you not going to go if it takes more than a certain length of time? We have stayed at YC and I didn’t even notice how long the buses take.

It would take them a few minutes to get to the Skyliner station, you don’t go through security to go on Skyliner.
The Skyliner then goes to Caribbean Beach, via Riviera, and the Boardwalk turning station . OP could chose to get off Riviera for a mooch or just stay on. At Caribbean Beach get straight on the one to HWS, which takes 5 mins.
I did this multiple times staying at BCV the other week- Skyliner is great fun and it would be something for OP to do, perhaps getting off at Riviera on the way there or back to look around and even taking the branch to Pop which is a good bit as it goes over a lake (also just get on it at the main Caribbean Beach station).
Alternatively OP could take the boat, or my preferred option if don’t want to enjoy the Skyliner or walk.
