Disney World Castle make over - work starting soon

disneyparks.disney.go/bl...oyal-makeover/

Work is expected to begin in the next few weeks and will continue through the summer season.

If its going to be covered in scaffolding then I think I might cancel our holiday - its already bad enough with Epcot in a state..

I wonder how this will affect the projections during Happily Ever After?

They’ve said Happily Ever After will continue as normal so I’m guessing they have a plan for it not to affect the projections. Not sure how that’ll work!

Apparently will only cost me £200 to cancel... Looks like I am doing Universal now...

My kids are going to be gutted but we can rebook for the 50th I suppose

Hope you get something you’re happy with. We’re not in a position to be rebooking (nor would we want to tbh) I guess we have to wait to fine out the impact... it is frustrating... when I went in 2017 they were doing up one of the buildings to the left of main street and you could see huge coverings on the building in so many pictures ... was really hoping for some great photos this time.
Will be lovely once it’s done I guess.
