Makes 12ish
320g Self Raising Flour Pinch of salt 80g Butter, plus extra for greasing 50g Caster Sugar 120ml Milk , semi skimmed 4 Tbsp Natural Yoghurt Preheat the oven to 220C/Gas 7 and lightly grease a baking sheet. Sift the flour and salt into a bowl and rub in the butter until the mix resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and add the milk and yoghurt. Work the mixture together until a soft dough is formed. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, then flatten it out to an even thickness of around 1" Using a 2"/5cm cutter, cut out the scones and place them on the baking tray. (Do not twist the cutter or the scones may not rise as much or as evenly as they should.) Bake for 12-15 minutes until brown. Remove the scones from the oven and leave them to cool for a bit on a wire rack. Based on the hairy bikers mum knows best recipe |

I use the Jane's patisserie scone recipe and just threw in a load of cherries and mixed fruit. Made 8/9... I did these on Sunday

These 3 ingredient scones are as good as any, but you've also been given some fine recipes above. My tip is from Nadiya and its when you are cutting them out just put cutter straight in and lift out, don't twist it round. This is less likely to give you a lopsided rise.
