How do I book specific Disney rides

Can anyone help as I'm such a technophobe. I have set up a my Disney experience account, booked our day at Hollywood studios for Aug this year, but how do I book specific rides. I want to book the starwars rides but no idea if I can do this and how far in advance I book. Help! 🤔

At the moment there are no fast passes so you cant book the rides, you do have to book the parks in advance just so that you can get in.

Rise of the resistance is one that you have to book, think the times come up on the day at 0700hrs and 1400hrs (I think)

I assume, in part, you mean booking fastpasses? Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot book fastpasses for any of the rides. When you could, you could only book them 30 days beforehand or 60 days beforehand if staying onsite. Some info here:

However, the fastpass system isn't running at WDW at the moment.

As Nelly7 says, for Rise of the Resistance you do have to book a slot in a virtual queue - you can't go on the ride otherwise. You can only book into the virtual queue on the day.
