Disney World ending temperature checks

Following the guidance of the CDC and local health officials, Walt Disney World will phase out onsite temperature screenings for cast members beginning May 8 and guests beginning May 16.
Another small step back to normality

Temperature checks are “health theatre” and pretty pointless.

Totally agree, these should have been stopped long ago.

Just been a professor at Oxford whose team are reviewing all this on the news- says much of it is pointless. Cleaning surfaces- pointless (and she quotes the CDC study of a 1 in 10,000 chance of getting it in these circumstances I mentioned the other day), those screens in shops etc are apparently pretty pointless too. There’s a web page they do apparently, I’ll have to try and find it.

Everytime something is taken away/reopened it makes me feel happy that slowly things are returning to normal!

I have said from day 1... Only two things work in the end...

Distance or Vaccines

After that you might as well forget it.
