Disney AP and emails
Hi we are holders of Disney Platinum Annual Passes but have never received any emails in relation to special events, discounts etc. We queried this at Guest Relations and they said to email Guest Services which we did. They took a while to come back to us and suggested that we needed to manage our account settings. We did this some time ago now and are still not receiving any communication from the US companies. We have received an email from the UK Disney Travel Company which we didn’t before.
We are concerned that we may be missing out on being invited to special events etc. Have any other AP holders had this problem and how did you fix it? |

Hi. Afraid I can't help with this, but am subscribing to the thread as hubby & I also purchased Platinum AP's prior to our last trip in April & are wondering exactly the same thing! I occasionally look at the Passholder info pages on the WDW website & other sites such as WDW Magic & DIS usually post news of special Passholder events, but would be great to have such info sent directly to me so that I don't miss anything. Hoping there will be another Dibber who can advise!

I've had a Platinum (Plus? - it's the one with water park access) AP for the last year. Haven't received any emails about AP offers/etc either, I only find out about AP offers/freebies from Disney blogs and websites.
I wonder if they only send information about things like AP previews/etc to US-residents?

This has answered my question as I’ve never received anything, and was always worried I’d missed something!

I raised this with Guest Relations earlier this year and although they confirmed our status we never received any emails. We did however receive a package with a passholders magnet, passholders magic band sliders and a copy of the Mickey monitor.

At least we’re not the only ones! I’ll email guest services again.
Thank you for your replies and happy holidays. |
