Las Vegas Jan 2022

Were hoping to head to Las Vegas in late Jan2022 for my DH 40th birthday.

We went a few years ago for my 30th and he has been twice before that.

The last time we went we flew economy indirect and stayed at the Cosmo which is an amazing hotel.

With our holiday being cancelled this year we've got a bit more money to play with so hoping to book direct business class flights.

Thinking about staying at Caesars.

Thos that have been before, what are your favourite things in Vegas. You can never see it all but want to make this trip special as its been a rough few years for us.

It depends what floats your boat, but we enjoyed the Mob Museum nr Freemont St and a drink in the Mandalay Bay Lounge (excellent strip view)

Have a blast

We really loved the Neon museum but only if you can get an evening ticket.
We had the Haunted museum on our itinerary for this years cancelled trip which was for my dh’s 40th 😞
We also enjoy the buffet at Caesars and Mon ami Gabi with a view of the bellagio fountains

We loved the helicopter tour to the canyon and flying back over the strip in the dark .

We also really enjoyed:

The Linq High Roller (with bar - we managed about seven drinks )

Cocktails in the Laundry Room (a secret bar - we had to make reservations) where the bar tenders make your drinks based on flavours you like.

Amsot forgot, we really enjoyed breakfast on the patio at Mon Ami Gabi.

Our special meal at Andiamos at the D - lovely steak .

Mob museum and neon museum are on our to do list for next year!

If it's just adults, then the Linq High Roller with the bar in. You can usually pick it up super cheap on Travelzoo USA.

Zipline down Freemont if you're planning on going there

Hiring a car and driving out to Red Rock Canyon - its beautiful there, and you can get a super cheap buffet at the Red Rock Casino too.

Neon museum, particularly at night when everything is lit up

Rides on the top of the Strat - again we got a ticket super cheap for this on a Vegas discounts web page, that gave you unlimited access to all the rides. It was absolutely freezing up there (it was Feb when we did it) but worth it for the views of everywhere lit up at night

Shows - we saw the MJ One Cirque show at the Mandalay Bay. I grew up listening to his music, and honestly the show was amazing

Wicked Spoon buffet for Brunch - other meals are not good here!

Wynn buffet or Aria buffet for evening meals

Gosh, we always pack so much in when in Vegas, and still haven't scratched the surface despite visiting 4 times!

Only two adults going. Those under 5ft are staying with Grandma! I like the idea of Red Rock Canyon
