That started me thinking. We got a 40 inch LG 3D Smart TV with very narrow bezels when my DH retired - so it’s 8 years old. Why he wanted 3D I’ll never know! It was to replace a chunky flat screen 40 inch Samsung with massive bezels, which we got when my Mum died in 2000. It replaced what we originally thought was a massive 32 inch Samsung, which my DD has, still going strong, fingers crossed. It’s likely we will replace the LG soon for a bigger screen, it will move to our other room and the Samsung will go to DD, who will give hers to someone she knows.

I'm replacing a 40" hitachi that we got in 2007 so I think it has served its time. Sound went a long time ago and has a hum so we linked it up to some speakers instead.

Look at best buys, tv’s, cheap tv’s. Number one is a cracking Samsung that gets 5 stars and is available at JL fir £350.
