Hi Everyone, back again to update you all on our Wedding Plans ... can't believe it's less than 8 months away

We have booked Randy Champan for our photography and
Stan Severance for our videography - they do a great package together for about $975 for 3 hours.

We are getting married @ Disney Wedding Pavilion @ 12 noon.
Kathleen Reynolds is our Disney Wedding planner, and we also have a Virgin wedding planner in Orlando as well.

After the wedding we will probably go for a drink somewhere (any ideas?)
before moving on to the Portobello Italian Restaurant in Downtown Disney @ 5pm.
I have spoken to Portobello and they have very kindly booked us in now (normally bookings don't get taken until 180 days before), they have also said that they will seat all 18/20 of our party together in a relatively secluded part of the restaurant.

After the meal we will probably head to either the poly or gf to watch wishes fireworks ( I really hope they are on that day ) (again any suggestions where is best to watch the fireworks?) We will meet Randy again here to get some more photos

We have also managed to book our Magic Kingdom Bridal Shoot for Monday 19th September! So excited about this.

I think for make up and hair I am going to go with Beaute speciale. I was thinking of having a trial with someone in England and taking pictures with me to Florida to show them what I would like. (Beaute Speciale are $115 for hair and make up and for the early MK shoot it's additional $50.)

We received Dave's top hat ears this morning (not sure if he will wear them, but I couldn't resist buying them!) I am going to buy the veil ears on pay day

We have also managed to buy the flower girl basket

The bridesmaid shoes
bhs/mall/productpag.../114940/238439

and the Wedding Ring box (which has David & Carly 15/09/11 engraved on it)

Think that's it so far!

Excellent update. Its so kind of you to share your costs with us. Cant believe how well priced Randy and Stan are! Randy is my first choice but having been readingthe the board "over the other side" as it were, I am also liking Mitsy and Roots are starting to grow on me with their more recent stuff, if Randy wasnt availble on my date.

Can I ask how many ladies are Beaute Special doing?

I've also seen the same petal basket in Debenhams - same price as well.

Brill that you have got the reception venue booked so early. I've never been to GF so cant help with drinks suggestions.

The price is $65 for long hair plus $50 for make up per person - we will be having myself and my 2 maid of honors done (my sisters) but luckily they are paying for this themselves!

I have brought some pink silk rose petals off of ebay for the flower girl, may get some for the altar too. I am going to take my own bridesmaid bouquets and buttonholes as I feel Disney are very overpriced. Just got to find someone who can make fake flowers look nice! That's my mission for next weekend!

Is your flower girl scattering the petals inside the WP? From what I have read "elsewhere" you can only scatter real ones outside - the jury is out on freeze-dried as some wedding planner assistants have said no them being scattered!

Yes you can scatter silk petals inside - this is what I am doing, you're just not allowed to do it outside
