Not going back till next year, but this is a must do for me. Looks fantastic. I do love a proper coaster. Can’t wait to find out how the motorcycle and sidecar experiences will differ. Looking forward to some DIBB updates.

I know we won’t truly know until we get some full ride povs- if universal do release one- and some reviews but how intense are we reckoning this will be?

The 17 foot vertical drop- how vertical? Completely vertical? Is it the drop we can see in the promo video which banks left?

I’m assuming this is a step up from a family coaster due to its speed and launches but I’m trying to guess if I’m going to chicken out or not

For vertical drop I was reading it to be like Oblivion, where it's held and released.

From what I understood by vertical drop, it's like 13 at Alton Towers... You will stop on a special piece of track that will literally "drop" onto another track below, and then continue the ride.

I could be wrong though?

Yes, that was what I thought too.

The cars will be horizontal but the whole track will break away and drop down vertically. Like being on Tower of Terror but only dropping 17 feet.

It seems like it will be reasonably intense. It has that freefall drop already mentioned, 7 quick-launch accelerations, and go 70 degrees upwards and then drop back down backwards. So imagine elements of ToT, Rock'n'Rollercoaster and Everest mixed together.

Also, it has a height restriction of 48 inches. Which is the same as Forbidden Journey, Revenge of the Mummy, and Rock'n'Rollercoaster. So I guess it'll be as intense as those.

That sentence has just made me smile a lot, 3 of my favourite rides!

Can't wait to get on this! Not the biggest universal fan but the Harry Potter part is great and needed another decent ride 🏍🛵
