NYC - Las Vegas flight prices

Flights are now on sale for our trip next April. Should I book now? Are prices likely to change (either up or down) closer to the time? Do any US airlines have sales I should look out for? TIA X

I think they probably will come down. Look at google flights they will tell you if the price is high. The sweet spot with domestic flights has been around 3 months before for me. You can set an alert on google flights and they will email you when the price changes.

Currently �268 each which is more than I was hoping to pay but as we�ve never done this flight before we aren�t sure if it�s expensive or about right?

Sounds very expensive to me. I�m waiting to book Orlando to Vegas (similar distance but less competition I�d guess) and they are �115 (plus luggage)
