Coming along well. An old motto. A clean builder is a good builder!
Nice to see how they are tidying up behind themselves.

They hire a cleaner at the end as well to make sure the new kitchen is all cleaned properly, inside the cupboards etc!

Really interested in this as we are planning to convert the integral garage in the house we are hoping to buy. We had hoped to be able to seamlessly have the garage converted whilst still using the existing kitchen but looks like that is a bit of a dream! Hey ho, knew it wasn’t going to be straight forward.
Good luck and I will be following x

Day 7

They had a day off on Sun then quite a lot of progress the last few days. On Mon:

Wall built to hold the timber frame for the wall between the new kitchen and remaining garage:

Steel beam posts cemented in:

Waste pipe (I think!)

Front wall started, there’s a 1.8m window going in here too.

Day 8

Loads of people here today and again good progress.

Timber frames built and some wall and ceiling is up, garage is now split in to new kitchen and remaining garage. The new kitchen floor is now level with the old kitchen area.

A lot more pipes put in, along with cabling for new radiators and electrics in the walls and ceiling.

They did this in the hall! Think they needed to run cables

Day 9

And another massive difference after today, we can actually see what the room will be like now! They have put in the new window too.

Standing in what will be the new kitchen area:

Standing in the dining area:

Door to the garage:

They have also removed the utility units now:
