Is Anyone else’s partner the same?

My husband likes to be involved in the hotel & villa, he books the flights & car and he likes to be involved in the places we eat but the day to day planning is left to me, which park and FP
However he has no clue about our household bills, savings, outgoings etc
I sort all the money out for everything, he has to ask me how much he actually brings home each month and he has no idea what our mortgage is lol

Oh boy, even down to moving house! He saw photos, I checked it out tried to arrange for him to view it but he said if your happy, I’m happy.
Holidays, he likes Florida but thinks it’s man made, been there and done that, why go again? Other places to visit, or, I would happily go if it didn’t cost so much!
So we went 2008 2010 2017 then last year just the 2 of us and did Miami too as a compromise, so 7 nights Orlando 4 nights Miami 🤣
This year I booked for next year, was so posed to go santorini or a beach holiday but I need to go back, I’m not quite done yet lol
He knows we are flying virgin, doesn’t know the date but does know the month, doesn’t know how long for or where we are staying. He pays for the holiday I pay for tickets, car extra hotels, spends and airport parking/hotel. I have promised santorini 2021
He is the same, knows I love planning, coming on here for ideas, reading trip reports and general disney bug related things. He says himself, just tell me where to go and I will turn up lol

Does anyone else have to give them a quick briefing and pop quiz before you go through immigration in Orlando as well?

We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside Disney! We are here for 14 nights! Repeat after me!

I'm always worried the immigration official will quiz him and not let me answer lol! And then they think we are dodgy as he can't remember where we are staying and for how long...

Yes 😂 I told my husband on our first trip that he may be asked where he was staying and how long and he said he would tell them to ask his wife as he had no idea 😂 . I had to remind him of the details before we left the plane as he still wasn’t sure which resort we were staying in. Thankfully they have never asked him

Now now, that’s why I worded it ‘partner’ to ensure no sexism. It just seems us women are more vocal about our male partners...

I hadn’t even thought about the security issue if he was stopped and asked his accommodations, duration, amount of cash etc! I just said this to him and he is a bit more willing to learn it before we go!

One of the times our oldest son came out to the villa with a friend of ours at immigration his reply to where are you staying was at mum and dads and where is that there Villa luckily our friend knew the address
He only been about 10 times before
And he wonders why DIL now has a spread sheet for villa trips
