Resin sinks anyone?
We are redoing our kitchen and deciding on the sink. We currently have stainless steel, and we were going to go with a brushed stainless steel undermount. The place that is supplying our quartz worktop also supplies resin sinks...they have a 25 year warranty and we really like the black one...it’s actually cheaper than the stainless we were looking at. Does anyone have a resin sink? They say it won’t stain and is scratch resistant and if it does scratch, the scratch will be black, so not noticeable...
Would really appreciate any experiences of resin, especially black/dark grey. 😀 |

we had a black silgranit sink in our last house, looked really good when clean and really hard wearing however as we were in a hard water area it discolored very easily. That said, when I redo my kitchen here I'd have another in a heartbeat

We had one. A word of caution. Don't drop a metal coffee pot in it.
If you do you will be buying a new sink - as we did. Split all the way around.

We have a dark grey coloured Siligranite sink, by Blanco, and love it!
Its pretty resiliant so far, and seems quite stain and scratch resistant.

Don't if it's black astracast , ours went really horrible and marked on the bottom. When I had a new kitchen I had a stainless steel rangemaster and it's great so much easier to clean and bleach out.

We had a cream resin sink and to be honest it did start to stain because we too are in a hard water area. After 10yrs we have replaced it with a Stainless steel one I found on the internet .It has a machined pattern in it, which stops it scratching and you can use a wire pan scrubber to get the limescale residue off and it looks a s good as new. Its made by a company in Portugal called RODi and I looked up the company and they have a good review. Saved a lot of money as the RRP was over £200 and I paid less than a £100 delivered.
