14 Day Disney Tickets - can we use them the Friday we checkout?

Hi everyone

Please be gentle with me...this is my first ever post

We're heading to Disney this Friday...OMG, how did that happen! We've been counting down since 360 something days and now we have 4 sleeps! Beyond excited!

Just a quick question...we're staying in Disney with the DDP and 14 day ultimate tickets. We arrive late on the Friday so won't be going to the parks until Saturday. Can we go MK after we check out on the Friday that we are due to leave? And can we still use any snack credits that afternoon?

Yes, you'll be able to use your tickets on the day you check out - just leave your bags with bell services for the day.

You can also use any meal and snack credits that you might have left as they don't expire until midnight on the day you check out. If you've not used the DDP before, I'd recommend having a look at this thread which is full of useful information, hints and tips to help people get the best out of it:

You always have to decide whether to use them the day you arrive or the day you leave as you can't do both. As you have already decided you're sorted!

As everyone else has said, yes to both I'm 100% sure you won't have used all your credits before the last day as there is SO MUCH food!

The only thing we couldn't use on our final day were our refillable mugs, but that was because we started using them on arrival day.

In previous visits they have worked, but now they have a chip or something in the bottom and they expire.

Oh that's a good one, we didn't use ours until breakfast the next day as we had dinner in DTD. On that note, if we used a QS meal in our hotel on the first night, but not the mug - will that still stop us using the mug the day we leave? Or will we be able to use it the day we leave because we hadn't used the mug on the first day, just our credits?

I've seen other threads that have said the mug thing is just a glitch in the system & that you can just approach Guest Services to rectify it. The mug is valid for the duration of your stay & if you can use Dining credits up until midnight of check out day then the mug is the same.
To the OP, wouldn't be a problem anyway as its 14 days from first use not including so in effect 15 days
