Urgent Pleas Help BA cancelled flight

We were due to fly to LA tomorrow from Manchester via Heathrow. The Manchester leg has been cancelled and the alternative suggested on the website means we wouldn’t arrive until Sunday evening! We’d lose one and a half days.

The office is closed so I can’t speak to anyone so I’m contemplatng driving to Heathrow and speaking to them to get on the original connecting flight. Would that work?

On the booking site are you still shown as being on the flight from LHR e.g. can you book seats on it, or has this flight disappeared?

If it is then I’d probably consider the drive.

It would depend if they have cancelled your onward flight and rebooked you onto the new flights already. Like you I’d also be tempted to go, and i feel like it should be ok but I’d prefer to speak to someone to confirm first.

I can’t speak to anyone, I declined the flights the website offered but have no one to speak to until the phone lines are vback on at 6am at which point it would be too late. I have checked in online, but I imagine they’ve moved me off both. I just wish I could talk to someone, I’ve tweeted, facebooked you name it!

Try tweeting. It says they are there 24/7. Or maybe the USA call centre as that should still be open.
