I agree, I think this thread could well do with being moved to the coronavirus sub section.

Interesting, we just had this conversation in work. Many of us had all the corona symptoms before Christmas.

We were only talking about this yesterday. My husband and several friends had all the symptoms early December. I’m convinced now it was CV.

I had this in Oct/Nov, told by the doctor just a nasty virus going round. Still got a bit of a cough!
Fed of having to tell people it’s not a “new” cough

I travelled to ≈≈≈≈stan for work at the end of November. I contracted a nasty cough/ headache which was made worse by the air conditioning in the venue and on the flight. This got worse throughout December and on New Years Eve I coughed so much I was sick. The doctor said it was a ‘seasonal virus’ but he couldn’t give me anything for it. It gradually got better but I still have a slight residual cough. I am now beginning to wonder. I am immune compromised because of drugs for arthritis.

My GP said exactly the same!

And none of the children caught it.

All 5 family members in my house caught a nasty virus just before christmas, never had a virus like it, started to feel better and then got worse again and then I lost my sense of smell completely and left with an awful taste in my mouth for a couple of weeks after. Still can't smell much, the house could be on fire and I wouldn't know.

We were talking about this at work last week . A number of people who are never ill including me were absolutely felled over Christmas. Symptoms were very much reflective of Covid19. Would be good if we do now have immunity particularly given we are healthcare professionals.

I had a really persistent cough in December that went on so long that I went to GP. This is something I never do. They couldn’t find anything on examination but were concerned it may be cardiac related and got put on all types of heart medication as a precaution. A couple of days later my GP phoned me on his day off and asked me to go straight to the hospital assessment clinic. After tests then and at a later date the treadmill test they decided my heart was fine. They gave inhalers but never really knew what it was.
