I beg to differ. BA refunded me my flights, APD and my seat choice costs in full. I demanded on 14 March and had the money back on my card within 8-10 days.

No admin charges, the full amount.

It's annoying at the best of times that they can take your money instantly but it always takes some time to repay it.

Good luck getting a seat upgrade refund back off Virgin Atlantic...I'm still waiting 3 years down the line for £80 for two extra legroom seats we could no longer have as they changed our flights home from Atlanta to New York's JFK..I spent hours on the phone and all they ever did was ask for info I didn't have and passed the book to different departments, one even put me through to Delta in the USA.
