The raj green looks lovely. Sorry I hadn’t posted a pic of our buff multi as promised but we only got the first slabs down late Monday. The builders didn’t do any work for us last week due to weather and then personal issues. I have conflicting advice than yours regarding sealing as my builder said that we should seal and offered to do it for us before the filler goes between the slabs. He says only the slabs should be sealed and not the filler so that drainage isn’t affected. This pic was taken at lunchtime today.
It’s a bit wet and patchy looking. This was last night when they were a bit drier (obviously not so many down).

It looks really nice ! Maybe I should have gone for the buff multi 😂
Really struggling to get my head around the seal or not to seal bit. So you have sealed yours before laying them ? |

The green will be great I’m sure 😁. No, they’re being sealed after laying but before the sand filler goes in between the slabs. I’ve read so much conflicting advice online that I decided to go with my builders recommendation in the end. Of course, your builder has said something totally different to mine - it’s so hard knowing what to do for the best 🤷🏼

Definitely have them sealed and sealed before they are laid.
We had riven ones put down at the last house. It was a bit of a dark courtyard area and they were going green within about a week or so it seemed. They were a faff to clean with all the cracks and crevices until we discovered Patio Magic. |

We didn’t seal ours and are now ruined and need replacing due to black spot! Im looking at Marshalls Symphony natural porcelain for this job, its more expensive but is slip free, stain proof, and extremely low maintenance. I like the Copper colour...

We have just finished our garden and used resin instead of mortar to point the joints. Our contractor said they don't need sealing but we have since had some stains appear we cant get off from garden furniture leaving rusty marks - so I think they should have been sealed.

Lovely job. Very sleek and love the colour way.
To be honest I cannot see any marks? Perhaps it’s just because you know they are there. How long did it take for them to appear? Useful to know about resin additive in jointing. May well push for this again. Lawn looks amazing too ! |

Lovely job. Wow lots of cutting, the person laying it must have been fed up with disc cutting!
I seal my patio and still have rust marks from a garden bench. Sadly they are there for ever.
