I’m hoping come Jan the UAE will no longer be asking for it.
We are waiting on the UAE as well and had hoped for October but looking increasingly unlikely of that happening.

Iceland was our backup for December but again I think they require the same test...

And obviously neither country is on our uk exemption list.

I’ve found the best way to find info out is to google FCO and look for the country you want to enter.

We’re looking for a trip to replace Florida for my 50th birthday, have found out I can book a test on entry to the country we want to go for around £100 for both of us

DS is travelling to Cambodia and needs a Fit to Fly certificate before he flies obviously. It must be dated no more than 72 hours before the flight. Then when he arrives all the plane passengers need to have another.

Edited at 03:02 PM.

Which country are you travelling to? Personally I think the FCO info is useless. It doesn't give any info about where to get the test done.

We’re looking at Iceland. The info tells us we have to be tested on entry and the cost of the tests and how to book them, I thought it was pretty useful

Iceland have just changed their entry requirements from today. You now have to pay to take a test on entry then you have to quarantine for 4 to 5 days and take a 2nd test.
We are due to go in Dec for a 3 night break but what’s the point if we can’t go anywhere ?!

Yes we’ve just found this out, we were going for 5 days, not going now. Not even going to bother looking for anything else to do for my 50th, can’t handle the disappointment anymore
