WDW resort + ticket date amendment.

I have made a dumb mistake and have booked our five nights at WDW plus tickets for October 2021 based on this years calendar.. I am so annoyed with myself!

When I cancelled this years booking I went ahead and made a completely new booking for next year with a travel agent. The booking is for the first 5 nights at Aventura at Universal and the last six nights at Hard Rock Hotel, leaving the middle five nights free for when WDW released their hotels and tickets for next October.

WDW released the dates.. I booked in haste and stupidly booked arrival on the 22nd when it should be the 23rd!

I have called WDW to explain my error but the wait time is currently about 71 minutes and I'm not able to be on hold at the moment. So what I'm wondering is does anyone know if I will be subject to an amendment fee? If so I will need to wait for payday

According to the nw bookings terms no, you should be able to move free of charge.

No as you can cancel for full refund at the moment, there is no amendment fee for changes (as you could just cancel and rebook).

We changed dates of our trip last Friday, couldn’t believe it but the call was picked up straight away. I think it was about this time of day.

Ditto. We just had to change the date by a day as when went to book our flights yesterday with our open VA ticket they didn’t have availability for the outbound. Disney were brilliant and shifted it all, no fee no fuss!
