Mobile Heathrow Airport hotels

Hi,
I guess a lot of people will be looking at Heathrow airport hotels now for the first time. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Already missing the Premiere Inn Gatwick North terminal!

T4 PI - attached to the terminal and we have often found it to be cheaper than the ones on Bath Road

The Bath Road Prem Inn at LHR is my very favourite (and I have stayed in both Gatwick N ones many times).

It has a huge atrium with bar and good sized restaurant.
2. It is newish and in great condition.
3. Purple parking with its free shuttles is right next door.
4. The free Heathrow red bus service runs right past. It runs straight to the LHR transport centre.
5. I invariably find it cheaper than Gatwick and very regularly achieve £29 for a family room, even at Easter and Summer school hols.

I am very loyal to Prem Inn. I know what the bed is like, know what the room will look like and know pretty much what is on the menu.
I had to cancel my March vacation and had rooms booked at Salisburyx2, Chertseyx2 , Bath Rd x 2 and Bath Rd x 1 on return at non cancellable cheapest rate and due to this, wrote the money off. Premier Inn then contacted me and offered full reimbursement. Such service was astounding and I will not forget it, having observed the struggles that others have had getting refunds with other hotels. This has only served to reinforce my clear loyalty to the group.

Loads of PIs there. Have stayed at the Bath Rd one many times but now prefer the one onsite at T4 so you can use the free tube to whichever terminal you want.

Hotwire is a good option because you’ll never be further than a short taxi ride away and you can get a decent discount if the PIs are higher than I’d pay for.

Sofitel is my choice of Heathrow hotel as we are BA flyers and its attached to T5. It a good hotel, have stayed in the club rooms which are nice but the standard are good too. Quick walk across to T5

Stayed at this one last November and it is easy to use even though we were flying from T3 as transfers on the underground are free the following morning. Not quite as new as the PI at North Terminal but food is just as good. If you are staying at a hotel on the Bath Road there are a lot which qualify as being on the TfL free bus route into the airport so is worth checking first. Again have done this several times and all the buses are used to families getting on the buses with suitecases.

If BA change our flight to Tampa to leave from Heathrow does anyone have any idea what terminal it might go from- or is that a silly question as we know so little about how this will pan out? We have never flown from London before or with BA so totally lost if I need to book a hotel at Heathrow now!

We have booked the PI bath road and purple parking next door. I understand you can walk to the purple parking to get the car park shuttle to the terminal.
