Apple or Samsung?

I need to get a new phone. On Tesco website they have a help guide depending on your use and preferences - it tells my two best matches are:

Apple i6s or Samsung Galaxy A71

I have never used Apple products - and I had a Samsung tablet quite a few years ago.

Any thoughts on either of these? What would you choose?

I like taking photos, browing web, few games.

TIA.

I would go Samsung every time, much prefer android operating system, plus it doesn't slow the battery down like Apple.

Samsung for sure. My techie son won't touch Apple. ( Obviously all the older grandkids have it though.)

Apple - great phones, great O/S and high resale prices. But if you like the Android operating system you are best of staying with Samsung.

I always have apple, mainly because photos link to both phone and iPad. I find apple so easy to use. My son and husband will only have Samsung though ! I think it really is just personal preference and what you are used to.

I'm Samsung through and through. Even my 14yr old admits they're better phones, like for like, than the iPhone. Buts he's a teenager and has to be like his mates, so has an iPhone !

I have a Samsung A71 and it is a really good phone. Would go for it again if I had a choice.
