Do we need to take towels on a cruise

We are cruising on harmony of the seas this year. Does anyone know if we need to take beach towels for the pool, the beach and prefect day or can we use towels from the ship?

When we were on the Harmony of the Seas we took the pool towels from the attendant who swiped your ship pass ( we bought the bands) They charged a fee if the towels were not returned so you have to make sure they swipe the towels back in.

When we have sailed on RCI we had to swipe once to take the towels out but then when we returned to the ship they just told everyone to tip them in a large cage and were not interested in swiping towels back in. We cruise frequently and always take the pool towels to the pool and beach. Normally cruise lines have one style of towels for the cabins and another for pool and beach use.

Thank you for the replies. I am glad to hear I will not need to take towels as I need the extra room in our suitcases.
